Job Summary:
Under direct supervision, prepares and serves food and cleans kitchen equipment
Duties and Responsibilities
Participates in preparing a variety of foods, such as soups, salads, meats, vegetables, breads, and desserts
Makes sandwich fillings and prepares sandwiches
Sets up foods prepared for serving on counters and steam tables
Serves food at mealtime and performs cashier duties as assigned
Accurately accounts for food prepared and sold
Operates various kitchen equipment
Cleans kitchen equipment and area, scrubs counters, and cleans tables
Stores and takes care of supplies
Counts inventory when assigned
Conforms to safety standards as prescribed
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, daily lifting of objects.
Performs other tasks related to the position as assigned
