SouthWest Metro Intermediate District #288 has an immediate part-time (0.14 FTE) opening for a remote, asynchronous HS Science Teacher to teach in our Elevate Online program.

Description:
High School Science Teacher, 0.14 FTE for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year.
Educate, plan, teach, facilitate, and evaluate students identified as having a disability. Many of the students exhibit social, emotional, cognitive and/or behavioral needs that require a significant level of support.
Pay & Benefits:
The starting pay for a part-time teacher will be prorated based on the successful candidate's experience. A competitive and comprehensive benefit package is also available.
Job Summary:
Provide support by working directly with students to increase their academic, social/behavioral, communication, and study skills under the direction of the teacher(s).
Qualifications:
- Minnesota Teaching License for HS Science (pref. Chemistry)
- Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams.
