POSITION:                       Classified Lead Teacher
LOCATION:                       MSDWT Early Learning Center
CALENDAR LENGTH: 185 days
WORK SCHEDULE:      40 hours per week
CLASSIFICATION:         Instructional Assistant
SALARY RANGE:                              $18.54/hour
Job Description: Being the Classified Lead Teacher in a licensed child care classroom. Responsible for preparing and implementing plans for pre-school age children
Qualifications:

1. Have a minimum of a CDA or early childhood experience.
2. Must be at least 18 years of age.
3. Experience with pre-school age children. Job Responsibilities:
   • Follow and carry out regulations established by the Family and Social Services Administration and the State Fire Marshall as directed by the Lead Teacher and Director
   • Help to maintain Level 3 Paths to Quality and pursue a Level 4
   • Help carry out programming involving parents and children including orientation, meet and greet, and year-end picnic, etc.
   • Keep accurate records – attendance, major and minor injuries, medication charts, observation files and portfolios.
   • Support the lead teacher/instructor to meet the needs of all students with emphasis on the preschool population.
   • Assist with marketing and public relations as assigned.
   • Assist in hall supervision as appropriate.
   • Other duties as assigned.
