Description
The Schuylkill Valley School District has an anticipated vacancy for an assistant principal at our high school. This is a 12-month position and the minimum salary is $90,000, actual salary commensurate with administrative experience and education. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic instructional leader who possesses a sincere interest in working with students, staff, and the Schuylkill Valley community as we strive to provide a safe, nurturing environment in which each student is challenged to think critically, problem-solve, create, and communicate as we prepare them to be responsible and contributing members of society.
Qualifications:
PA principal certification, HS classroom teaching experience (English/mathematics background preferred), demonstrated ability to successfully lead individuals and initiatives, leadership abilities in the area of student achievement, ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others, and successful administrative experience are required.
