Leave Replacement Mathematics Teacher

Implement the curriculum as aligned to New Jersey Student Learning Standards;

Prepare and implement lessons that provide meaningful learning experiences for students;

Establish clear objectives that reflect the learning standards;

Differentiate academic instruction for students at varying levels of attainment to maximize student potential;

Exercise open and respectful communication with families, co-workers, supervisors, and other school staff;

Measure progress and accomplishments of students towards their academic achievements on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required;

Provide a safe, thriving, and respectful environment for all students in the classroom and on the school campus;

Exhibit structured classroom management;

Create a stimulating, aesthetically welcoming, organized, functional, healthy, and safe classroom;

Utilize technology effectively in lessons, including gathering and managing student data;

Perform non-instructional duties with timeliness and accuracy;

Attend professional development sessions in order to further advance professional practice;

Continue to grow professionally through collaboration with colleagues and professional growth experiences; Maintain a reflective teaching practice.           

New Jersey K-12 Mathematics Certification Required;

High School teaching experience preferred.
