Substitute Teacher

Position Description: 

Our Substitute Teachers create an safe and welcoming learning environment for our students while their regular teacher is absent, effectively managing and instructing the class. 

Some responsibilities include: 

• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to provide consistency in the learning experience for students
• Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student learning, minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environment

Requirements;

• A current MN Teaching License is required.  Substitute license can be obtained if you have a 4-year degree. License info found at https://mn.gov/pelsb/aspiring-educators/apply/
• Candidates must be able to successfully meet our pre-employment background screening requirements.
