Are you passionate about reading and education? Do you have a knack for helping others improve their literacy skills? We’re looking for enthusiastic and dedicated reading tutors to join our team!

Position: Reading Tutor

Location: McKinley Elementary 
602 Plum Street 
Fairport Harbor, OH  44077

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one reading instruction to students of various ages.
• Develop personalized lesson plans tailored to each student's needs.
• Use effective strategies to improve reading comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary.
• Track student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student progress.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Qualifications:

• reading Endorsement / Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field (preferred).
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience (preferred).
• Strong command of the English language.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

What We Offer:

• $30.00 per hour 
• 25 hours per week, Monday through Thursday
