CREC Resource Group - Registered Behavior Technician - District Schools and Connecticut Technical Education and Career Systems (CTECS)
Position Purpose:
A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides 1:1 behavioral intervention services to children with special needs. RBTs are responsible for implementing Applied Behavioral Analysis based programs as directed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst/Case Supervisor.
Job Requirements
• Current Board Certification for an RBT
• Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of BCBA
• Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
• Daily collection and graphing of all required data (DTT, Manding, Behaviors, TA's, etc.)
• Prepare program materials
• Review and implement consultation/supervision note recommendations
• Communicate appropriately and effectively with colleagues
Equipment
Use of standard office equipment such as personal computers, copy machines, fax machines, and telephones
Travel Requirements
As needed
Physical and Mental Demands, Work Hazards
Physical demands may include moving therapy equipment and helping lift or move students on and off equipment. May include driving to and between assigned sites.
