Physical Demands/ Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.

Essential Duties
Guide the learning process toward achievement of district approved curriculum goals.
Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects and communicate these
objectives to students.
Prepare for classes assigned and show written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate supervisor.
Provide instruction that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students.
Employ a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media.
Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
Assess the learning of students on a regular basis and provide feedback.
Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative procedures.
Set and maintain standards of classroom behavior in a fair and just manner.
Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities.
Assist the administration in implementing all policies and rules governing life and conduct throughout the school environment.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or principal.
