Description
Title: CAFETERIA MONITOR
This Position is: Non-Exempt
Primary Function:
Monitor students for safety and health, including maintaining discipline during non-instructional time.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to work well with staff and students.
- Ability to follow instructions of superiors.
- Ability to intervene appropriately when conflicts arise between/among students.
- Sufficient strength, agility, and dexterity required to perform all performance responsibilities
PrincipalPerformance Responsibilities:
- Take care of playground equipment.
- Monitor for behavior problems.
- Dismiss students from the blacktop at end of lunch period.
- Monitor students for the purpose of detecting possible acute health problems such as, but not limited to allergic reactions, asthma attacks, and seizures
- Perform other duties as assigned by Principal
Ten months a year. Salary according to School Board Pay Plan.Evaluation:
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with School Board policy and administrative regulations on evaluation of non-licensed personnel.
