Paraprofessional - Alternative Programs

Schedule: 8.0 hours per day; 190 days per year.

Qualifications Required: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; must have college transcripts showing a minimum of 48 hours of earned college credits; or must have obtained an associate's degree or higher. Must display a pattern of regular and timely attendance.

Preferred: 3+ years in an alternative education setting.

Special Requirements: Acquire/maintain current Basic and Advanced Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training. Maintain CPR certification for infants and adults.

Salary: $17.49–$21.58 per hour.

Applicants with a bachelor's degree can receive an additional $1.25 per hour.

Applicants with a RBT certification can receive an additional $1.00 per hour.
