Junior High Language Arts/Reading Teacher

Our junior high teachers are valuable members of our St. Mary Elementary and Jr. High School instructional team. They work collaboratively in order to ensure a consistent standards based grade level experience. 
St. Mary Elementary and Jr. High is seeking a Language Arts/Reading Teacher for our junior high school.
This teacher will be part of our junior high school team. 
 
Job Summary:
Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for students
Work collaboratively 
Implement best instructional practices 
Create a classroom environment that is welcoming, respectful and supports the learning of all students
Infuse Catholic Social Teaching principles into instruction
Embrace professional learning offered and participate in staff meetings
Participate in parent teacher conferences
Communicate with parents and colleagues in a timely manner
Implement all school safety practices

Qualifications:
Certified Teacher holding an Illinois license
