We are a vibrant and diverse pre-kindergarten-grade 8 Catholic school in north Seattle. We support and guide our students in their mental, physical, and spiritual growth of excellence, service and love. Approximately 70% of our students are students of the global majority and we seek staff who will value and appreciate each student and their families. We are focused on helping each student prepare academically and be active community members.
Do you love teaching and sharing your knowledge and faith to inspire kids to learn and grow? We are seeking a positive, innovative, engaging, and student-centered Pre-Kindergarten Teacher.
The PreK program is licensed by the State of Washington and is a part time program with full day option for 4 year olds.
Typical Hours:

  • Mondays: 8:15-2:00
  • Tuesdays-Fridays: 8:15-3:00
  • PreK days follow the school calendar for holidays and breaks
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Early childhood experience preferred
  • Two professional references
  • Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
  • Have a warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others and be able to relate well to students
  • Possess strong work ethic
  • Be punctual with minimal absences
Conditions of Employment:
  • Pass background check in MERIT and VIRTUS
  • Be CPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogen certified or obtain certification upon hire
  • Complete Child Care Basics (to be completed with 90 days of hire)
  • Maintain 10-hour annual in-service training
  • Show proof of MMR immunization and Tuberculosis test
  • Overseeing all program operations
  • Supervises all activities to ensure safety at all times
  • Plans a variety of activities
  • Interacts with students and families
  • Maintains a professional attitude with students and families
  • Treats all students with dignity and respect
  • Helps to maintain a neat and organized space
  • Helps with the general housekeeping tasks
  • Reports to the principal
Salary: Depending on experience and qualifications, the salary ranges from $45,760-$52,000. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
