Edith Teter Elementary Park | Park County School District RE-2 | Fairplay, Colorado Edith Teter Elementary is seeking an energetic and student-centered Physical Education (PE) Teacher to serve students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. We are looking for an educator who can create a structured, engaging environment where students develop healthy habits, teamwork, and confidence through movement and physical activity.
ABOUT OUR SCHOOL Edith Teter Elementary is a small K-5 school located in Fairplay, Colorado, offering a supportive team environment and a strong focus on positive school culture. Our staff prioritizes collaboration, consistency, and doing what is best for students. Fairplay Colorado is located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains at 10,000 feet. Our community offers access to hiking, fishing, camping , and is just 35 minutes from Breckenridge. It is an ideal setting for those who value both outdoor recreation and a close-knit community.
We provide unique learning opportunities through: * A nature-based learning program that connects students to their environment. * Targeted intervention supports to meet individual student needs. * Enrichment programming that extends learning beyond the classroom.
We operate on a 4-day school week (Monday - Thursday), allowing for both focused instruction and work-life balance.

SCHEDULE AND BENEFITS * 4-day school week (Monday-Thursday) 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM. We operate on a 4-day school week, allowing for both focused instruction and work-life balance. * 155 contract days * Salary commensurate with education and experience * Health, dental, vision, and life insurance * PERA retirement * Paid leave and additional district benefits.
