Work Schedule Status: Part-time (unbenefited) position. Work hours may not exceed 29 hours per week.
The part-time Lunch and Recess Monitor will work each Monday - Friday that classes are in session as per a schedule developed by the Principal.
Lunch and Recess Monitor
Seeking an energetic and dynamic Lunch and Recess Monitor who will work each Monday through Friday that school is in session. Ideal candidates are individuals who are interested in interacting with elementary school students, helping them to follow lunch/recess rules, and maintaining a safe environment while the students enjoy lunch and recess. In addition, the applicant must be willing to help teach children how to use indoor voices while enjoying lunch, help teach table manners, help distribute milk and hot lunches, and help to maintain a welcoming lunch environment for all.
The ideal candidate of good character is preferred to be (but not required) a licensed teacher, a sub, or a paraprofessional.
Candidates must complete an online Frontline Applicant Tracking application, complete Protecting God's Children training, as well as an Accurate Biometrics criminal background check with fingerprinting protocol.
Compensation rates are commensurate with education and experience.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently be required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, see, feel with hands, reach with arms, walk up or down multiple flights of stairs, and be physically able to perform duties as assigned, including the ability to lift up to 20-30 pounds if needed.
- Works in standard office and school building environments but also has ability to work outdoors during outdoor student activities.
