Founded in 1995, the Learning Technology Center (LTC) is a program of the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), and we are Illinois’ technology system of support for K-12 school districts and educators. We support all K12 districts, schools, and educators in Illinois through technology initiatives, services, and professional learning opportunities. Our work addresses high-need technology and digital learning challenges, and we help schools increase access to and use of technology to improve educational opportunities for students. About the Position
The Online Learning Program Manager is instrumental in steering and enhancing the organization's online education offerings. This role involves developing LTC's online learning vision, developing innovative online programs, and overseeing their implementation to align with organizational goals. The manager creates online courses, manages our webinars, leads a team of online content creators, collaborates with content experts, and ensures that our online learning offerings meet the needs of our K12 audience.
Work Location: The Online Learning Program Manager must live within Illinois, and they will be assigned an office at the nearest Regional Office of Education.
Travel: Applicants must be willing to travel 10% of the time to meet with school leaders and staff. The majority of travel is local and can completed without overnight stays.
