Job Summary:
Monticello Middle School is seeking a dynamic person to teach middle school health from March 6 - June 6, 2024. This person must be a team player, be willing to closely collaborate and plan lessons, and successfully deliver the grade 6-8 Minnesota health curriculum.
Licensure:
- Current 5-12 Health Education teaching license for the State of Minnesota
Essential Skills Required:
- Understanding of the Minnesota Academic Standards for content area
- Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs and the strategic plan of the district
- Inspires and engages all students in relevant learning
- Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff and families
- Experience working with diverse students and families - experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods preferred
