Bilingual Spanish/English ELD Paraprofessional
Elementary School 

2026-2027 School Year 

Estes Park School District is seeking a motivated Spanish-speaker to connect with students in the school district. This person would support the school's efforts to connect with and engage the non-English proficient students. Offer consistent on-site support to school staff and students in their ability to communicate and ensure an effective relationship so that students can engage in deep learning at school.
 
General Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of typical office equipment such as telephones, copiers, fax machines, email, etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with others in a team setting.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong Spanish – English bilingual verbal and writing skills.
• Ability to solve problems.

• Ability to manage time effectively.
   

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in an educational environment.
• Experience working with school age children, including those with behavioral challenges.
• Basic bilingual skills and experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse students.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.
   

Performance Responsibilities: 

• Monitor and reinforce appropriate student behavior during various activities such as play, lunch, in-school suspension, or in the classroom as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
