Chronic Absenteeism Specialist (PART-TIME)

Staff Needed: Two (2) Chronic Absenteeism Specialist (Part-Time)
 
Qualifications:
 

• Hold at least a High School Diploma (College Degree Preferred)
• Have experience working with youth in a multicultural/urban environment
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, including the ability to work with cross-functional teams, coordinate events, work effectively with keen attention to detail, and manage projects independently
• Demonstrate excellent command of the English language, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary, bilingual preferred
• Demonstrate skills in maintaining case folders on each student, writing, and editing reports
• Demonstrate the ability to use computers and/or electronic equipment to fulfill job functions
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, an enthusiastic attitude, and the ability to relate well with culturally diverse stakeholders including staff, students, parents and community partners
• Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license with no serious violations
• Exhibit integrity and demonstrate good moral character

• Meet such alternatives to above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
