Substitutes take the responsibility to ensure that the educational process is not interrupted when the regular teacher/paraprofessional is absent. Substitutes provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the subject area as described in the lesson plans prepared by the classroom teacher.

Substitutes- Non-Certified: $15/hour
Substitute- Certified: $16.25/hour
DAEP Substitute- $16.25/hour
Long-Term Rates (10+ Consecutive Days)
Non-Certified: $17.50/hour
Certified: $18.75/hour
