English Teacher- Full Time

BROOKFIELD HIGH SCHOOL IS LOOKING FOR A FULL TIME ENGLISH TEACHER

• Full-Time Position  - includes teaching students in a highly collaborative and technology-rich environment 
• Qualified candidates must have a current and valid CT Certification (Endorsement 015, English, 7-12)
• Familiarity with the philosophy, content, and structure of the English Language Arts Common Core State Standards

           

Candidates must have the ability to: Work with students from diverse academic backgrounds. Demonstrate an understanding of curriculum implementation, differentiated instruction, and varied assessment practices to support student mastery of content and skills. Collaborate with faculty in small and large group arrangements. Establish open lines of communication wtih families regarding student progress and behavior. Consistently adhere to established teacher expectations in a professional manner. Become a member of the Brookfield High School community through a commitment to enhancing the experiences of students.

- Teacher Training 8/30/2023 - 9/1/2023
- First Day for Students - 9/5/2023
