Job Description:

The is searching for an education leader to serve as superintendent beginning July 1, 2011.  The District is a rural, comprehensive K-12 public school system located in southwestern . Students come from the City of and the outlying areas of  Wimer, Grants Pass and Gold Hill.  Surrounded by the foothills of the Cascades, the Siskiyous, and the area is a gateway to unlimited outdoor recreation opportunities.  Nearby larger cities include and

·                     Approximately 970 students

·                     Schools:

o                    Two K-5 elementary schools

o                    One 6-8 middle school

o                    One high school

The District is fully equipped with technology applications utilizing fiber-optics, high speed data processing, and Internet.  Instructional technology has experienced tremendous growth in recent years with each school having a technology center for student learning.
