District Supervisor for Curriculum and Instruction Prekindergarten through Grade 5

Middlesex Borough Public Schools is seeking a dynamic instructional leader who can provide content expertise as well as pedagogical support in the leadership and supervision of early childhood and elementary instructional best practices.
Primary responsibilities will include Curriculum and Instruction for the comprehensive Prekindergarten through Grade 5 program. Interested candidates must have knowledge and experience in
- Early Childhood (including preschool);
- Gifted and Talented;
- Innovative acceleration and extended year programming;
- Supervision and evaluation of PK-5 staff;
- ESEA and Title I programming; and,
- Various state grant opportunities.
Successful candidates must:
- possess a valid NJ Supervisor Certificate or CEAS;
- hold a Master's Degree from an accredited college or university;
- a minimum of five (5) years excellent experience in teaching in the early childhood and/or elementary setting;
- demonstrate excellent leadership and organizational skills and, the ability to motivate people;
- demonstrate excellent knowledge of research and research-based practices; and,
- have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative.
Candidates must have demonstrated the ability to work effectively in the areas of school administration as well as supervision of programs and staff related to prekindergarten through 5 curricula.
