Special Education Teacher: Communication Development (CD) Program- 26-27 SY

Description: CD Classroom Teacher

Job Summary: Teacher will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide educational programming to students with moderate to severe speech/language impairment as well as autism spectrum disorder. Students may also have physical and/or significant health impairments. Duties may include development and implementation of IEP goals, data collection, behavior management (including physical restraint), positioning, feeding, lifting/transferring, and equipment maintenance. Communication with families and other team members is essential. Use of assistive technology and computers also required.

Qualifications: Valid and Registered Illinois Professional Educator License  LBS I
