Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent Successful completion of a driving record check through the NM Motor Vehicle Division with a solid safety record Successful completion of a criminal background check in accordance with Section 22-10-3, NMSA, 1978 at applicant’s expense Satisfactory completion of a NM school bus driver’s physical examination Possess a valid New Mexico commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class B for school buses, with S and P endorsements or the ability to obtain one. Successful pre-employment screening for drug abuse in accordance with 49 CFR Part 382 at the District’s testing lab Desired Education and/or Experience School bus driver experience desired Possession of current First Aid/CPR certification where required by State/District/Regulations desired

FULL TIME AND PART TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE Salary: Nine months (177 days) per contract year and appropriate placement on the Bus Driver Salary Schedule. The work calendar is subject to change based on any Board approved revisions that may or may not be permanent. Conditions of Employment: Ability to comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 and, upon an offer of employment, complete an Employee’s Statement of Health and submit to a functional capacity evaluation at the District’s expense to determine ability to perform job-related functions and fitness for duty. Any offer of employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of all background, criminal, and reference investigations.
