Description
Job Summary:
This assignment performs the full range of basic tasks in the cleaning and maintenance of District buildings. Substitute custodians will be placed on an on-call list. When substitute custodians are called, they will be told which building to report to, who to report to, and what time to report.
Hourly Wage:
Part-time: $13.84/hr - No Benefits
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Physically able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Certificate of good health by a licensed physician
Experience as a school custodian or equivalent in custodial service in other institutions and/or firms a plus
Willingness to cooperate in a positive and friendly manner with staff, students, and members of the public
Proven ability to communicate effectively with the Principal, Head Custodian, and Custodial and Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities:
Provide students and staff with a safe, clean, and attractive environment
General cleaning of assigned areas of responsibility
Cleaning of other assigned areas
