Human Resources Specialist - Personnel Movement Date of Notice: February 6, 2023
Exempt Position - District Personnel Vacancy #: 30-048/10951
 
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Business or Human Resources
  • Minimum of three (3) years related experience
     
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
  • Advanced proficiency in personal computer use, data entry, and MS Office and Google Suite
  • Knowledge of human resources practices and procedures preferred
  • Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain a high level of attention to detail in multiple computer applications and software systems
  • Excellent public relations and interpersonal skills in dealing with staff and the general public
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of assignments requiring organizational skills and interpretation of standard of procedures and written policies
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to multi-task with numerous competing deadlines
  • Demonstrated high degree of confidentiality
  • Professional preparation of both qualitative and quantitative reporting mechanisms

Position Description:  Human Resources Specialist - Personnel Movement

Salary: Twelve months (234 days) per contract year and appropriate placement on the District Personnel Salary Schedule.
 
Conditions of Employment: Ability to comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 and, upon an offer of employment, complete an Employee’s Statement of Health and submit to a functional capacity evaluation at the District’s expense to determine ability to perform job-related functions and fitness for duty. Any offer of employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of all background, criminal, and reference investigations.
