Position: Dean of Students
Location: Zion-Benton Twp. High School
Reports To: Principal/ Assistant Principal
Classification: Administration, Union Exempt
Term: 190-day salaried position, which includes additional required evening and weekend supervision responsibilities as assigned.
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 annually based upon candidate’s relevant educational attainment and experience as per Collective Bargain Agreement.

General
Summary: The Dean of Students serves as a leader to ensure that students graduate, life, career, and college ready. The Dean works with the Assistant Principal
of Operations and Activities in supporting the comprehensive Principal of Operations and Activities in supporting the comprehensive educational program
of the entire school; administers school board policies and administrative procedures relating to student attendance, discipline, extracurricular supervision, and serves
as a member of the management team; committees, and project teams as requested. Responsible for ensuring increases in 9th Grade On-Track and Graduation Rate.
Qualifications: Professional Educator license is required with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Possesses and active Type 75 administrative certificate.
Prior school administrative and/or coaching/activities experience required. Superior interpersonal, leadership, communication skills, and positive rapport with students required.
