Must hold a license issued by any agency.
The license position area must be in School Nurse.
The license status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.
Description
SCHOOL NURSE
Provides preventive health services to facilitate the student's optimal physical, mental, emotional and social growth and development. Identifies problems and disabilities and provides such services as case finding, health education, referring and care in order to help prevent serious health problems which would later be more difficult and costly to address. Supports the education process by working to assure the health of the students. License as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required and license as a School Certified Registered Nurse (CSN) is preferred. Prior school experience is preferred.
