High School Mathematics Tutor - Part Time
Life Skills High School of Arizona is searching for a Mathematics Tutor. This position will service students in grades 9 through 12, from now through the end of the school year (June 30, 2017).
At Life Skills you will be given the opportunity to work in a challenging environment with the reward of impacting the lives of our next generation. As a Tutor at Life Skills, you will be provided the resources necessary for success, including a collaborative team environment and one-on-one teacher training/mentoring.
As a Tutor, your main responsibility is to help students learn, reviewing content with them, explaining how to solve problems and checking completed work. A Tutor may also help students develop study skills and organization techniques to help improve their academic performance.

Minimum Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
- Masters degree in related area preferred
- Certification/licensure in appropriate subject area
- Successful completion of state mandated criminal history check
- Successful prior teaching experience in Mathematics preferred
- Part time, 20-25 per week
- $20.00 per hour, per experience and education
