Paraprofessional (Part-time 050 FTE, may be combined with after-school part-time paraprofesssional for full-time)

Description:     

Paraprofessional - Part Time (0.50 FTE)

Job Summary: 

Responsible to assist, support, and work closely with teachers, administrators and other team members in providing educational benefit and supervision of students. 

Additional Job Expectations: 

Participate in staff development activities, staff meetings, in-service trainings, retreats, continuing education courses, and/or professional organizations, school functions including but not limited to, field trips, award banquets, carnivals, graduation, etc.

Qualifications: 

High School Diploma and a minimum of 60 hours of credits in education or a related field from an accredited college or university, or qualifying scores on WorkKeys to be approved as a Paraprofessional as defined by the State of Michigan.  Subscribe to the mission and values of Hope Academy.  Spanish speaking strongly preferred.
