Part Time (.50 FTE)

Job Summary: 

Responsible for providing appropriate education experiences to meet the needs of youth enrolled in Hope Academy of West Michigan programs.  The teacher is accountable to the Principal and functions as a member of the Hope Academy of West Michigan team, which consists of classroom teachers, instructional support staff, school social workers, the principal, and the office staff. 

Additional Job Expectations: 

Participate in staff development activities, staff meetings, in-service trainings, retreats, continuing education courses, and/or professional organizations, school functions including but not limited to, award banquets, carnivals, graduation, etc.

Qualifications: 

Teaching degree from an accredited college or university, certification required (K - 12 - Art Education (LX) Certified) or a provisional certification with intent to become fully certified.  Also, have the willingness to aquire the highest level of certification and the status of highly qualified.  Subscribe to the mission and values of Hope Academy of West Michigan.
