Description
Part time diagnostician for Satellite/Communication Development Program. This position will require travel between dsitrict and ECHO locations.
The diagnostician will collaborate with other special education provicders, including but not limited to District Representatives, Administrators, and Assistive Technology specialists. See the attached job description for further details of the position.
The program diagnostician supports programs and districts in serving low incidence students. The diagnostician processes program referrals and completes the diagnostic observations and assessments that qualify students for program enrollment.
The diagnostician may represent program at staffings, develop IEP’s for student placement and provide consultation to districts regarding low incidence disabilities. He/she may be asked to assume other program leadership roles such as chairing committees, coaching teachers and/or developing curriculum..
Benefits: Diagnosticians are placed on the Certified Bargaining Agreement's salary schedule and receive a yearly stipend. The stipend amount for 2025=2026 is $3105 for a full-time diagnostician.
