Castle Rock School District #401 would like to announce the opening of Substitute Teaching positions for the ongoing school year. Candidates must hold the proper Washington State credentials and/or endorsement.

2023-24 Substitute Salary Schedule
Number of Days | Rate of Pay | Amount |
1 – 30 | 75% of 1/180 of base salary per day up to and including day 30. | $237.66 |
31 – 60 | 85% of 1/180 of base salary per day up to and including day 60. | $269.34 |
60 + | 95% of 1/180 of base salary per day for the 61st day and beyond. | $296.10 |
Long-term in same position: Day 1 – 20 | 90% of 1/180 of base salary per day up to and including day 20. | $285.19 |
Long-term in same position: Day 21 + | 100% of base salary on district salary schedule | $316.88 |
There are no benefits offered except Employee Paid Sick Leave as outlined in RCW 49.46.210

The Castle Rock School District offers classes in several Career and Technical Education (CTE) program areas, such Agriculture Sciences, Computer Sciences, Construction Trades and Technology, and Sports Medicine and Nutrition under its open admissions policy. Lack of English language proficiency will not be a barrier to admission and participation in career and technical education programs.
