Middle School Counselor

The Adams-Friendship Area School District in Friendship, WI is accepting applications for a School Counselor at Adams-Friendship Middle School.  This full-time position will provide support to students through the Comprehensive School Counseling model with a goal of preparing students for post-graduation careers, vocational training, and/or higher education.  This position will also provide school counseling to students and parents; participate in case conferences involving cooperation with other pupil personnel workers, school personnel, and community agencies; makes referral to public or private agencies with appropriate follow-up; serves as a liaison between school, family, and community resources; serves as a source of information regarding community resources; maintains appropriate school records and provides written reports and communications; participates as a resource person for in-
service training and planning; evaluates student records; participates in the Individual Education Plan (IEP) process as required; performs other duties as assigned.
