Paraprofessional/ Instructional Assistant + Substitute Teachers - Full Time and Part Time: Current Need + 26/27 SY

Description: Paraprofessional/ instructional Assistant - STAR, PRIDE, FALP, CD, and Multi-Needs Programs

Job Summary: Will participate in implementing daily lessons and IEP goals/objectives. Position requires assistance with life skills and behavior management (including physical management), working with assistive technology, and equipment management. This position requires working collaboratively with a team to assist and supervise students on academic and non-academic tasks. Position will involve working with students with moderate to severe disabilities including cognitive impairment and autism.

Qualifications: Educator License with Stipulations / Paraprofessional letter from ISBE OR Substitute Teacher License (STS or Full)

Compensation: Minimal Starting Salary for 26/27 SY- $28,315; Starting Salary equates a minimum of $22.47 an hour worked (Increased Salary for possession of Associates Degree/60 Credit Hours OR Substitute Teaching License)

- Daily Rate for Part Time Staff (2 or 3 day)= $157.31 a day

- +$75 per day for Paraprofessionals when they Substitute for an absent teacher

- Call in Substitute Teachers = $110/$125 (for more than 10 days worked)
