Kenosha Unified School District will be accepting applications for Substitute Teachers for the upcoming 2021-22 school year. Applications will be reviewed regularly and interviews will be scheduled. It may take some time for a Human Resources representative to contact you about your application as we have many to review. Thank you for your patience.
Note:
Our pre-employment process does require that you submit official transcripts for your associates or bachelor degree. Once you apply, you may want to request those documents from your school in anticipation of an interview and possible hire if you do not have them currently. We do need the official transcripts.
Substitute Teachers can work full or part time based on their availability. During your interview we will discuss how substitute teachers locate positions and schedule their time.
If you do not have a Substitute Teaching license, the district will provide online training so that you may apply for one through the Department of Public Instruction. You do not need the license prior to applying, but will be required to obtain the license once hired.
