Family & Consumer Science Teacher

LHS is a 3A campus with outstanding community support.  The ideal candidate will display knowledge and expertise in the following areas:
-Ability to effectively manage student behavior and create a positive classroom climate;
-Content;
-Planning, teaching and assessment cycle; and
-Teaching/learning strategies designed to engage stidents from all backgrounds.

Specifically, this position will be geared towards offering courses in culinary arts/hospitality pathways.  Experience in FCCLA events and competitions is a plus.

?Requires Bachelor’s degree from accredited university and valid Texas teaching certification.
