The Region One School District seeks skilled and enthusiastic individuals to join our team of dedicated substitute teachers.

Lee H. Kellogg School (K–8) – Falls Village
Cornwall Consolidated School (K–8) – West Cornwall
Kent Center School (PreK–8) – Kent
North Canaan Elementary School (PreK–8) – Canaan
Salisbury Central School (PreK–8) – Lakeville
Sharon Center School (K–8) – Sharon
Housatonic Valley Regional High School (9–12) – Falls Village
Essential Functions:
Supervise students in the classroom when the regular teacher is absent
Follow lesson plans provided by the teacher or administrator
Use technology tools as directed
Implement health and safety protocols
Collaborate effectively with school staff
Requirements:
Valid CT Teaching Certificate or a Bachelor’s Degree (college transcripts required)
Successful completion of criminal background and DCF records checks
Participation in Region One Health and Safety Training
Working Conditions:
Assignments may take place in any PreK–8 elementary school or a 9–12 high school. Flexibility in location and grade levels is expected.
Salary: $130/day
