Elementary Recess Supervisor - K-6 (Part Time/Flexible)

Position Summary:
The Elementary Recess Guard plays a key role in maintaining a safe, orderly, and positive environment for students during lunch and recess. This position includes active supervision of students outdoors and indoors, supporting positive behavior, and assisting with cleanup duties after lunch and recess.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students during lunch and recess, ensuring safety, appropriate behavior, and inclusive play.

• Monitor all areas of the playground, blacktop, and indoor spaces as needed.

• Intervene calmly and appropriately in student conflicts and follow school behavior protocols.

• Clean and reset lunch and recess areas daily, including wiping tables, collecting trash, and organizing playground equipment.

• Communicate with teachers and school staff about student behavior, injuries, or concerns.

• Follow all school safety procedures and respond quickly to emergencies.

• Promote kindness, respect, and responsibility among all students.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Experience supervising children or working in a school setting is preferred.

• Positive, dependable, and proactive approach to student safety and supervision.

• Ability to remain on your feet and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Professional, respectful, and team-oriented attitude.
