POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

Position:
Browning High School Teaching Position for remaining 2024-2025 Academic Year
Career Technical Education: 1/2 Time Teacher -- Welding (or related endorsements)
Type:
Licensed teacher positions. Supervised by principal (or designee). Assignments subject to change as needed.
Eligibility:
Montana teacher certificate with appropriate endorsement (or qualified to obtain). Must have clean criminal record (no felony or multiple misdemeanors).
Duties:
Ensures students learn subject matter and skills; plans and prepares for classes; instructs and assesses students; participates in staff development training; works with staff, students, and parents in promoting student achievement. See Teacher job description.
Qualifications:
Previous successful teaching experience preferred but not necessary; good communication, problem solving and organizational skills; ability to work well with students, staff and parents; certain physical abilities including to exert 10-20 pounds of force; good work habits. Salary:
Per Certified Master Contract depending on degree and contracted experience -- Contract is for 1/2 time and will be prorated.
Benefits:
Per Certified Master Contract Sick and personal leave, retirement and health insurance for certified staff. Moving allowance.
