PAY RATE	$125.00 Per Day

Dedicated School Staffing is proud to support Green Local Schools for the recruitment of substitute, school based employment opportunities. We are looking for Patron Teachers, dedicated substitutes looking for committed work within a building or district, every day the school is in session, for the entire school year. Not unlike long term teachers, Patron Teachers have a regular presence in a school and are relied on to show up every day and make it count.
 

Responsibilities

1. Follows lesson plans.
2. Maintains a neat and orderly classroom.
3. Ensures that students are never left unattended in the classroom.
4. Keeps students safe and engaged.
5. Monitors student progress and assists where needed by keeping close proximity.
6. Maintains existing classroom management and discipline procedures.
7. Understands building and classroom policy and procedures.
8. Provides written feedback for the classroom teacher.
9. Maintains accurate attendance records.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree - any field.
2. Clean criminal background.
3. Committed to work 4 days per week.

After Hire (Contingent)

1. Ohio Department of Education Substitute Teacher License, or higher license.
2. FBI & BCI Background checks dated within 365 days of hire (Cost varies per agency).
