Core Responsibilities

• Promote improved student achievement and attainment of school goals by appropriate utilization of technology • Improve teacher effectiveness by appropriate utilization of technology and training • Train and support staff in order to accomplish goals efficiently and accurately • Promote efficient use of financial resources used for technology • Lead Eastern in securing 100% of non-competitive technology funding available for schools • Lead Eastern in capturing a wide range of competitive funding sources • Lead, innovate, and maintain Eastern’s technology vision/goals • Directory Services – Active Directory, Google Integration, Clever • Networking – Ruckus wired and wireless systems • 1:1 Devices – K-12 iPads and teacher/administrator iPads/Macbooks • Mobile Device Management System – Filewave • Learning Management System – Canvas • Business Computer Systems – Windows environment • Student/Business Management System – Skyward • Student/Staff Web filtering – LightSpeed Rocket • Google Integration of Gmail, Drive, and common apps • Phone Systems – NEC • Intercom Systems – Dukane • State and Federal reporting
