Wasatch County School District is located in beautiful Heber Valley, nestled in Utah's Wasatch Mountains. The student population is approximately 7100 and growing! There are currently five elementary schools (grades K-5), two middle schools (grades 6-8), and a high school (grades 9-12). The educational system enjoys strong parental and community support. The Wasatch Community Foundation has made education their main focus, contributing thousands of dollars towards school programs and scholarships. Our parent groups donate hundreds of hours a year providing support and resources, inside and outside of school, that positively impact the lives of all our children. Heber City, Utah has been identified as one of America's hottest little boomtowns by "Money Magazine", and has lived up to that reputation. One of the primary draws to the valley is its small-town atmosphere in close proximity to the nearby cities of Salt Lake City and Provo.
As stewards of our children's education, and in preparation for their individual futures, Wasatch County School District commits to preparing confident, competent, literate youth, by implementing a focused core curriculum, and instructing in safe and attractive learning environments.
