POLYTECH School District provides educational programs and training for students in grades 9-12 (POLYTECH High School) and for adults (POLYTECH Adult Education) throughout Kent County, Delaware. The high school is located at 823 Walnut Shade Road, Woodside, Delaware. The adult education programs are also located at Woodside with many satellite locations throughout the state. POLYTECH High School, is a comprehensive technical high school with approximately 1,200 students offering specialty training in twenty different technical programs of study along with traditional academic coursework. The high school also offers a variety of dynamic extra-curricular activities. POLYTECH Adult Education provides a variety of education and training programs for adults to include: Adult Basic Education (ABE), James H. Groves Adult High School Diploma, specialized industrial and business training, apprenticeship training, vocational training, JTPA training programs, and special interest courses. The POLYTECH Adult Education program takes pride in serving approximately 4,000 students annually through programs that are developed with input from local (business and industry) advisory committees.
