Description
The Thomaston Public Schools district is located in Thomaston, Connecticut which encompasses a land area of 12 square miles and has a population of 7,922. The Town is 10 miles south of Torrington, 23 miles west of Hartford and is bordered by Waterbury, Plymouth, Harwinton, Litchfield, and Watertown. Thomaston is a residential community that consists predominantly of single-family homes affordable across a broad range of income levels. Residents are served by Thomaston’s diversified economic base which includes many small and medium-sized manufacturers offering opportunities to its students through sound annual budgets, diverse course offerings, and internship/exploration programs.
