Pulaski County Special School District
Description
Pulaski County Special School District was created in 1927 by an act of the Arkansas State Legislature, which combined 38 independent school districts into the present 'special' school district. Geographically, the District serves a 729 square mile area, making it the second largest public school system in the state. Approximately 3,000 employees, including teachers, administrators and support staff provide educational services to the District's more than 18,000 students in 24 elementary schools, 5 middle schools, 2 junior high schools and 6 high schools. We invite you to join us in putting children first.
