Description
The West Memphis School District is the largest educational system not only in Crittenden County but in the Arkansas Delta, serving over 5500 students. Its 12 campuses take children from kindergarten through the twelfth grade. The school district employs around 700 individuals, over 450 of which are certified personnel approximately 250 auxiliary staff members. The beginning teacher salary with a Bachelor's Degree is $41,500. The West Memphis School District is is fully accredited by the Arkansas Department of Education and the AdvancED (formerly North Central) Association of Colleges and Schools.
