Dequeen/Mena Education Service Cooperative

DMEC serves 14 school districts. THese 14 districts are located in Howard, Little River, Montgomery, Polk and Sevier counties in Southwest Arkansas. We serve these districts by providing services as needed. We are deeply involved in Pre-School education,staff development, media, school supplies, Special Ed., GT, Literacy, Foster Grandparent Program, Vocational, Technology and Distance Learning. We serve approximately 13,500 students and 1100 teachers and administrators.

The mission of the DeQueen-Mena Educational Cooperative is to assist the member schools in more effective and more equitable use of their shared resourses, and to provide shared services for the better education of their children and youth.
