Paragould School District
Paragould School District
Description
Paragould School District has three elementary schools, a middle school, a junior high, and a high school to serve students in grades kindergarten through twelve.
Mission Statement
Paragould School District is a consolidated district comprising the former districts of Oak Grove, Stanford, and Paragould. Some 2,700 students are enrolled in three neighborhood elementary schools, Baldwin, Oak Grove, and Woodrow Wilson, serving kindergartners through fourth graders. All fifth and sixth grades in the district attend Oak Grove Middle School, a unique neighborhood campus where these young students learn and mature in an environment that feels "grown up" without the elementary students while lacking the social stresses of junior and senior high. Seventh and eight graders attend Paragould Junior High School, while Paragould High School is home for freshman through seniors. Additionally, the district includes The School of the 21st Century, a unique concept providing comprehensive child care for infants and toddlers before/after school care programs. All schools in the district are accredited by the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges.
